2017

Local, long-running theatre and creative space, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, hosts a yearly art auction, Art Attack, which is used to generate funds for the not-for-profit. As an alternative space the auction isn't the stuffy, hush-toned type of affair that one finds at other fundraising events. This event is exuberant and exists in technicolour (and that just describes the drag queen hosts). It was important that this attitude extended to all the collateral for the event, the highlight of which was the auction program. To create a distinct impact for this piece, it was printed with 150 unique cover colours which combined to create a pastel gradient when they were all stacked together. This proved to be a particularly Instagrammable payoff for the evening of the auction.
